Crash was nominated for the Best Picture Oscar for this year’s Academy Awards. Crash was by far the best film I saw last year and probably one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Look deep---it’s full of grace and peace and Jesus. It’s rated R for good reason, so don’t take the kids, but for everyone over the age of 18, I think this is a must-see movie. Obviously, Crash had a profound impact on me. Which films have effected you greatly?
Crash was definitely my favorite movie of the year. It just shows how racism begets more racism and racisim is caused by limited resources and unlimited cravings (aka greed).
I liked Syriana, but not a well as Crash. It is worth it to see a version of how terrorist become terrorist. The Fog of War was a good one. I like the premise of Constant Gardner, but felt the movie could have been better made.
Get this, I read a blog from one of the World Economic attendee's who said she attended a conference on what makes you loose sleep at night (aka nuclear war) and she asked the IAEA Nobel Prize winners what was being done to understand the root of the problem in nuclear wars and that said that the root doesn't kill people nuclear weapons kill people. Odd that this comes from genius.
I think the root is poverty, hate and despair. Are we helping this or growing it for export.
