In the spirit of the Soup Nazi, "No Bible For You!" Well, there's an interesting story developing with the guys at XXXchurch.com. They are trying to get some Bibles printed with a cover that says, "Jesus Loves Porn Stars," but the folks at American Bible Society have refused to do it, saying that the message on the cover (Jesus loves porn stars) goes against everything the Bible stands for. Craig and Mike plan to press on and firmly believe that they will find someone to print the Bibles. In fact, you can donate $20 and get the Bible (when it's printed) in the hands of 20 porn stars. I think this might be one of the most amazing examples of missional Christianity in the North America today. Talk about taking the Gospel to the most difficult places on Earth. And how did the XXXcurch.com guys do it.....with love. What a concept!

Brad, you might have seen the segment on Nightline last week along these same lines. The story featured a bar that has Bible study for singles one night each week. It's very well attended and the Catholic church is sponsoring the effort. The priest they talked to said, We're just bringing the Bible and the gospel message where people are. Beer and Bible study... Genius! (not that I...);-)

I love it....finally Christians are getting the facts right (as opposed to the "God hates Fags" signs at gay parades). I guess the bible that the publishers are talking about doesn't have any of the stories about Jesus loving "sinful" people. I would hate to have a bible like that. Actually if those stories weren't in there... I wouldn't be alive to read a bible.

Wow -- the concept of love going against everything the Bible stands for. Interesting.
There are still mission fields that Christians haven't wanted to acknowledge, and until now, the porn industry has been one of them. I think xxx-church is doing a great thing.
