I stole this out of my wife's journal. Hope she won't be too mad.
We are consumed with the thought that on our watch as "keepers of the faith" people are dying of hunger and disease that we have the money to [change]. I elieve I will be judges for these sins, and it is our collective responsibility as Christians in the 21st century to end- poverty, death by malnourishment, and curable disease. Evil works will continue by man, and we will not have a Utopia or perfect Heaven on this earth until Jesus returns, but I believe we can be Jesus to a global community and change the face of the Earth as we now know it.
