Storm
Driving in from Dallas on Saturday night we got to see an incredible storm develop and move through south Tulsa. Wall clouds, funnel clouds, and lots of lightning. It was a little scary at times (we pulled over about 5 miles from the storm with lots of other people on the highway), but mostly just intense and awesome. We got to our house and there were only a few drops of rain. I found out on Sunday that some homes were damaged not too far from where we live. I have definately gained a whole new perspective and appreciation for weather since we moved to Oklahoma.
I am off to Colorado today for a few days at
Group Publishing. I am helping to promote and host a new seminar they are starting this year for youth workers. I'm looking forward to a couple of cool days in the mtns.
*High School Students: Don't forget that
Heirborne starts at 6:30pm this week. See you on Wednesday. Peace.
