Keeping up with a blog is so hard when you have a new baby and move into a new house- at the same time.

Last night Shannon went back to work, and well I had the kids all by myself for about eight hours. And, I must say I think I did pretty good. Well, the first hour and a half, both Judson and Phoebe were crying and screaming and wanting all of my attention (actually they both really wanted Mom's attention, but they would have settled for mine.) Then Phoebe fell asleep on the playroom floor and Judson crashed out in my arms on my couch at about midnight. After I carried them both to their respective beds and then crawled into mine, we all slept quietly until just before seven. So I guess I did OK, but it's nothing compared to the hours and hours my wonderful wife puts in taking care of these kids, keeping up with the house, keeping me out of trouble, and working part-time. I would definately be lost without her. Shannon, I love you. I'm really, really glad I said "I do" eight years ago today. I never could have imagined what an amazing impact those two words would have on me. Here's to many, many more.
